Call for self nominations

Eligibility

40 years of age or younger at the time of nomination.
Actively engaged in the professional design ecosystem.
Open to self-nominations from those who meet one or more of the criteria below.

Selection Criteria

Innovation
 

  • Pioneered new ideas, products, or practices in design.

  • Demonstrated bold, original problem-solving.

Social, Cultural & Environmental Impact

  • Addressed pressing social, cultural, or environmental challenges.

  • Created tangible impact for people or communities.

  • Shifted awareness, accessibility, or practices through design.

Leadership & Expertise

  • Recognized as a leader, mentor, or subject expert.

  • Invited speaker at conferences/panels in India or abroad.

  • Known for guiding teams, communities, or organizations.

Recognition & Achievements

  • Recipient of awards, fellowships, or recognitions.

  • Published work in reputed journals, platforms, or media.

  • Acknowledged for deep, lasting impact in the field.

Entrepreneurship & Professional Practice

  • Founded/co-founded a design-led company, studio, or startup.

  • Built sustainable, impactful practices influencing industry trends.

  • Demonstrated long-term commitment to advancing design practice.

Nomination Process

  • Self-nomination only via the official Google Form.

  • Prepare the following:

    • A short bio (max 200 words)

    • A professional portrait photograph (high-resolution, suitable for print/digital)

    • A summary of your work and impact

    • Evidence of awards, publications, or recognitions (if applicable)

    • Links to published works, media features, or portfolio

A short Video of self (60 to 90 second) explaining why you are a suitable speaker for DoBeDo Pro 2025.

Nomination & Selection Process

How to Nominate

  • You can nominate yourself by filling out the official [Google Form].

  • Alternatively, an ADI member may recommend you. For recommendations, write to us at delhi@adi.edu.in.

Curation of Nominations

  • All submissions will be reviewed and curated by the ADI Delhi NCR team.

  • A longlist of potential speakers will be created based on the submitted work and eligibility criteria.

Jury Review

  • The longlist will be presented to an independent jury selected by ADI.

  • The jury will evaluate nominations based on the quality and impact of professional work.

​

Notification of Selected Speakers

  • Final selected speakers will be informed by email.

  • Selected speakers agree to present at DoBeDo Pro 2025 on 25th October in New Delhi.

 

Final Decision

  • The decision of the jury and ADI team is final and binding.
